Excitement and Plans for the Festive Season in the Margaret River Region

As the festive season approaches, it’s the perfect time to wind down from work and embrace the joys of summer. While the season can feel busy and overwhelming, it’s a wonderful reminder of what we dream about during the cold, short days of winter.
Here in the Margaret River Region, we’re lucky to have a fantastic lineup of events to keep the holiday spirit alive. Here are some highlights to mark on your calendar.
27th December – 12th January: Summer Festival at Aravina Estate
Immerse yourself in the stunning manicured gardens at Aravina Estate and enjoy 17 days of endless summer fun; including daily live music, a fresh seasonal menu, craft beers from 8Waves Brewing Co, and exquisite wine tastings.
A perfect way to soak up the holiday vibes!

27th December: Vino Paradiso at Cherubino’s
Cherubino’s much-loved Vino Paradiso is set to delight guests with a day of wine, mouthwatering food, live music, and DJ sets. Their new restaurant is the ideal spot to indulge in the region’s finest offerings; also featuring Bella Napoli's wood-fired pizzas, SubZero artisan Gelato, Leeuwin Coast oysters bar & Piper-Heidsieck champagne.

17th – 18th January: Karnidale Circus Festival
The iconic Karridale Circus Festival returns with an exciting mix of international and national circus acts, live music, workshops, market stalls, and DJ performances. Perfect for the whole family during the day, with more risqué shows in the evening for adults seeking a bit more of a thrill!

8th February: Busselton Jetty Swim
Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Busselton Jetty Swim, featuring the famous 3.6km ocean swim around the jetty. This event attracts swimmers of all levels, from novices to professionals, and offers a range of family-friendly entertainment and activities along the foreshore.

Outdoor Movies at Lentedal (14th December – 29th March)
Experience the charm of outdoor cinema amongst the vines at one of our favourite local wineries, Lentedal. Enjoy wood-fired pizza, wine, grazing box, and the company of camels, cows, and other farm animals roaming the property. Movies are screened every Saturday evening from 6 pm to 10 pm, making for a delightful night out; dogs are welcomed on lead !

Festival of Busselton (31st December – 24th January)
This summertime celebration showcases arts, crafts, sporting events, and live entertainment across Busselton. With activities running throughout January, it’s a vibrant and diverse event for the whole family. Be sure to check the Festival of Busselton’s website for details on the 2025 program.
